new member need help

Default new member need help

Hi, im Crazy C and im new to this whole mustang thing. I came to this chat room thing to get info and i want to know what everybody think. I want you all to know i got my first Mustang, its its a 99' and i got it for $300 bucks and its a 3.8. I want to do sum mods but i dont know where to start. The car need a new fuel pump thats the first thing i need to get done. I WAS WONDERING if anybody have any suggestion as far the type of fuel pump i can get. Im only 16 and i dont have that much cash i wonder if i can get use 1 and if there is another kind of car i can get it off.

if you're planning on modding the car, I'd suggest looking for an SVT focus fuel pump, wouldn't hurt to have one and they're much better than the stock 3.8 ones

Yeah, a better fuel pump would be a good idea.
The focus pump is good for 425hp but some have done more with it with no problems.

Being an OEM it will last a good long time and wont make a ton of noise, some pumps can be quite loud.

well i checked online for the ford focus(stv) fuel pumps and not just the stv has that pump. what i want to know is what year,make, and model i can use and is it plug and play or do i have to make mods

I believe it to be plug and play. any Ford (Special Vehicle Team) Focus fuel pump will do.
