Default t-56

i'm fairly new here and I wanted to look in to this or atleast ask of the possibility, but is the t-56 swap possible with the 99-04 3.8? I mean it would seem close as far as mounting but bolting up to the 3.8 that's the real question I wanted the t-56 swap run a procharger set up and a set 0f 3.73 for the rear. anyone have any comments?

No point in doing so and the cost would be outragious. Yes it can be done but most people just upgrade thier T5 or T45 trannies to take more abuse. Even then a procharger alone will not push either transmission on a V6 out of it's usable range.

It can be done, but you're looking at over $3500 to do it. Tran/bell housing and do some wiring so the VSS and what not match up.

Much cheaper / easier to deal with an upgraded T5. I highly reccomend a G Froce T5.
