1998 Mustang with high miles sale question
New member here. I have a 1998 Mustang convertible. Candy apple red. Base model. It has 235,000 miles on it but is in great running condition. The engine was replaced at 179,000 miles. Top is in excellent condition and body has one very minor ding on the LR lower fender. Paint has some small blemishes on hood otherwise is great condition.
Is this too many miles to consider trying to sell or should I just include it in a trade for a new vehicle? I’d hate to see it go to the salvage yard.

Determine a private sale price and then a trade in price and which ever yields the best sales tax advantage is the way to go. I suspect trade in will be pretty low but whether it's lower than what you can sell it for is yet to be determined. Check Kelly Blue Book and classic used car web sites to see what your car is selling for nationwide.
