if thats true....oh yes....she will be mine. RN degree is in full swing....i'll be making 60+ grand a year in no time. I just hope she's availibale in more then red with black stripes.

Which Shelby? He's coming out with three of 'em:
GT500 -- this is the one listed around 43, I believe, although I've heard they're selling pre-orders for WAY over sticker.
CS6 -- the blown 4.0; not sure about price
West Coast Customs -- really limited edition collaboration with WCC; I think it looks ricey but I'm sure it will command a steep price.
Are there any more I'm forgetting?

In NYC/Long Island are the dealers are taking them straight to auction and getting top $$$. Almost impossible to get your hands on one for a while here. The GT's are still gettting above sticker !!

List price is rumored to be in the 40k area for the hardtop, 43k for the vert. But those numbers are pure fantasy, the street price will be much, much more. My local dealer says they have an allocation of 3 or 4 and will be marking them up 20k. The LOWEST markup I've seen or heard of anywhere is 15k, the highest I've heard so far has been 40k (yes, that's on top of MSRP). People who are holding out for X plan on a new Shelby are in for nothing but disappointment. It's unfortunate, I would happily pony up MSRP for one, it would be a tremendous value at 40k. But I will not go 20k over sticker, that's insane!

Not sure where you got red with black stripes, I've never seen that combo pictured or listed anywhere. The red with white stripes has been pictured all over the place though. There are also pictures of the white with blue stripes at the above link and it is HOT.
