OK - here is the pic. Not sooo bad - but sucks nonetheless. Spoke with the body shop and they said I could order the GT takeoff's myself and they would put on the rear bumper. Said since they are already painted, it should be a pretty even swap and no cost to me

I ended up choosing to go with Diversified Marketing (on Ebay) and got the Rear Bumper, Front Bumper w/ Grille and foglamps, and side rockers (instead of exhaust - since I already have the magnaflows). So , all in all , may end up having a silver lining after all! I'll let you all know how Diversified does on their end and so forth. Their customer service seemed very knowledgeable and helpful - now we just wait.....

Anyone have any tips on the rear bumper install. My shop said they haven't put a GT bumper on a 2005 V6 and was wondering if there is anything different or if they are going to have to modify anything etc...

im sorry i know how it is. the other night my pony was parked in the garage and a paint can fell on the hood and left a good dent and some scratches. ive gotten at least 5 little tiny dings that bother me already. it seems like these cars are dent prone.

 

Holy crap, I saw you fri on the way to work, passed right by you and the truck and all the cop cars... damage isn't that bad.
You should def get the ones from ebay that come painted, will save a lot of time and $. Looks like they're direct bolt-ons on these cars.

 

LOLOLOL - thats so funny ... Yeah I'm excited about the new look... too bad have to wait almost 2 weeks !

 

OUch! That's tough! I feel for you. It's like it's happening in slow motion... You know we try to park out of the way and where almost no one is within door swing ding zone, and after all that something like that still happens.
