Back in mid to late october a friend of mine who works at west hamptons gabreski airport knowing that Paul McCartney is my idol and ive wanted to meet him my whole life and everything gave me some inside info that Paul would be landing at like i 1 in the morning and no one would be there and i could meet him....
I was so like OMG!!! no way!!! the night that I was going to meet him, I brought my beatles bass hoping it could be signed and my moms jersey she got when she went 2 see him a few years earlier and being she was in the hospital w/ Multiple sclerosis, i figured i bring it for her, lol.
I get to the airport and his drivers come and im like omg, its gonna happen cuase their there... My friend trys getting out of them if he was cool w/ getting pictures taken and signing stuff and they said although he is very nice and everything, its 1 am and hes gonna be tired and just dont, lol.. so i was like o man, great...
so right after that i figured the only proof i would get would be to take a pic of his bronco next 2 my stang... come 2 think of it, maybe its the drivers bronco but prob not cuase he would probably wanna be like in something you wouldnt think of.
So the pic is my mustang parked next to his ford bronco....
When paul came I he came in a challenger which i got 2 park and chock and everything, i used 2 do this so i knew what i was doing, lol. And when he got into the doorway i can understand how people could faint or whatever meeting someone famous like him or him in general... He came down the steps and said " its starting to get a bit chilly out, isn't it?" and hearing him in person w/ his accent and everything blew me away... He came down I said to him, and i wont ever forget this... " Mr McCartney, I saw your show at madison square garden september 29th and it was spectacular" and he gave me all these thanks and shook my right hand.
After this He goes into the bronco which they brought onto the ramp and he got in and was there for like 5-10 mins w/ the window down in the passanger seat. The crew carried his personals off and put them in the bronco and I think there was 1 item shaped like his beatles hofner bass.... thinking back i wish i could have asked him 2 sign something for my mother who was sick and still is but i didnt want to get my friend fired cuase the drivers said something like that has happened. While he was in the car i built up the courage to say to him" I have been wanting to meet you since im in second grade, you are amazing" he gave me all his thanks again and was like oh, really and stuff? He was so think and pretty tall.
His car finally left and im standing when all of a sudden the rest of his band shows up into the doorway of the challenger. The big drummer who i forget his name pops out and im like OMG i saw u at MSG and u were awesome.. 1 by 1 the rest of them pop into the doorway and ask me if me and my friend want the food onboard... I go up in amazment and they start loading me up w/ food from the plane. I kept going on how they were awesome and everything and they all had big grins on their faces which im guessing is becuase their playing in pauls shadow maybe? and so they are loading me up when i say to them Alright guys, have a safe flight and everything and the drummer tells me cuase i have so much food in my arms and they were like wow, you can carry that all? be safe going down the steps, lol. So we put the stuff inside and we got a tip also, haha but there was so much food. We both split it all and there was glassware and stuff which my mom kept. haha she was in the hospital telling everyone that she was eating Paul McCartneys food. And lets just say... some of the food onboard was gross looking and like vegitarian and stuff... just gross stuff....
So yea, that night was awesome. i was just looking at pictures i had when i was like this is something that would be cool posting, lol.. my only proof i guess that i met him and shook his hand...
I dunno if any of you care but everyone told me ... thats like meeting royalty, lol and stuff and yea, i am 21 now and i literally know like verbatim every beatle song and stuff....

Great story and congrats on meeting Paul! It's a shame that you couldn't get a sig for your mom, but I bet she will enjoy hearing your story just as much as the sig
