Hmm.. i think i need help!
Ok ... Heres the deal... I have a '05 4.0L V6 and i want to give it that deep growl that mustangs are famous for, but because i am a full time student so i dont get to work enough to make a lota money.... but i am looking to put exaust on my car bc lets face it... nothing sounds better than a that deep growl from a mustang! Now my problem: i dont wanna get dual ... so which exaust would give me the best deep sound (PLEASE NO RICE COOKERS OR FART CANS!) w/o completely running me broke?!?!
THANKS A MILLION
(oh yeah ...soundclips or w/e would be much appreciated!!)

I have the JBA axel back single exhaust. Bought from AJ-USA for $166 bucks and free shipping. Here is a link to a video clip of the sound.

Okay...first off: You are hot (Come on...All Y'all know you were thinking it)!
Next, the V6 will NEVER have that V8 rumble. However, you can get a good sound with the MRT single. Screamin has or had one and the sound and HP gain were amazing. I know you didn't want to do duals...but I put on Magnaflow duals on my V6 and it sounds just like I wanted! The single GT takeoff will improve your sound and is really, really CHEAP. Even here in the K-State area there are plenty of people selling them now.
Do some searching here and other forums for sound clips. Also, the manufacturer's websites have videos and sound clips usually.

Sarah... welcome to the board!
The cheapest way to go and still get a really nice, deep sound is to find a GT take-off single axle-back. You can usually find them on ebay. I had one for awhile on my ride and loved the sound. I wanted to go duals and moved up to the jba's, but the GT take-off sounds great. It's the perfect mod of starving students!
