Opinions on CAI sought
First time poster and just joined the forum. I have been reading the forum for quite awhile and decided to finally join. I purchased a new 06 Black Pony manual (my first ford purchase) a few months ago. Now that spring is coming, I'm looking to improve the performance.
I have decided on the MRT exhaust but the CAI has me a little bewildered with all the options out there. I'm looking for the best bang for the buck and came across the aFe - stage I which has a good price and claims a 12 RWHP gain without the expense of the retune. However, I'm skeptical of the claims based on research.
Does anyone have the aFe stage I and did they notice a difference or have it dyno'd?

RE: Opinions on CAI sought
I highly doubt those gains are realistic.
Truely, the best bang for your buck is a CAI and tuner. Sure, they seem pricey together, but it's really worth every penny for what it'll do for your car.
Personally, I recommend the C&L intake and XCalII combo.
