Got my VIN, what does it mean?

Hey, got a fax from my local Ford, my convertible was made last Tues/Wed. I got the VIN, but I was wondering what the numbers mean?

VIN stands for Vehicle Identification Number, think of it as a Social Security number for your car. The police, government, and car dealers use the VIN for registration and sales of the car.
