Default Newb question: special order codes?

Hello, new to the forum.

Anybody here have some insider knowledge about possible special order codes? I've been seriously checking out these new Mustangs, searching around on this forum, and trying to gather as much info as I can. What I would really like is a 'stripper' mustang with a V8. I realize this is the V6 forum, but the GT can't be had without a bunch of options I don't want, which has me looking more and more at the V6 base model. There have always been special order codes, and I guess what I am hoping for is something like a 'police package' or 'extra duty' package, if there is such a thing. Sort of like the notchback LX 5.0 cars.

Animal style.

Sorry, its too close to lunch for me.

Don't know about any special order codes. What is it on the GT that you don't want?

Take a look at the Brad Barnett forums, they've got full order guides posted there and you can see exactly what all the option packages are. The only way to get a V8 is by getting a GT. ALL Mustangs (GT and V6 alike) come with a pretty high base level of quipment (such as A/C, power windows, etc.), so you're not going to be able to get a really stripped down model.

I'll check it out. I view the equipment on the base V6 as being just about right, although I could live with roll-up windows. Anything beyond that is just adding useless weight and cost, to me at least!
