Default car ramps

ok, so im sick and tired of having 2 jack my car up everytime i wanna go under or do an oil change....

is there a brand of car ramps that let u go up front tires first for those of us w/ lets say lowering springs or gt bumpers and cant get up ??

i have a link of how 2 make custom ones out of wood but i rather get some pre made to save time. car ramps diy

my bro, myself and my father have cars that dont wanna go up front wheels up because their 2 low 2 the ground. i was just wondering if there was anything out there proven 2 work to get rid of this problem .

I got my car ramps from Autozone.... nothing special... still, I purchased two pair and jack the car up on both ends and set the car on top of the ramps... still have to jack the car up... not enough clearance to drive up on the ramps..

Yes, I found a set that lowered cars should be able to drive up on. They are made by Blitz and I got them at auto zone. There is a black version (8000 lbs.) and a gray version (12000 lbs.). They were pretty cheap too, like $35.

Yeah, I got two pair of the black ones... I still couldnt drive up on them though... I just use the jack to set the car on all four ramps... then change oil, etc... I prefer the car be level anyway when changing oil....

I made the wooden ramps from the Mustang World article you mentioned. I even made them one 2x10 thickness higher. They work great! Sure they are heavy, but I don't worry about them failing while I'm under them. You could drive a tank up them. They cost me about $60 bucks worth of 2x10 lumber, and a couple of hours. But now that they're done I use them all the time. I even ran my back end up to prime and paint the rusting rear axle. The thing that was driving me nuts about the plastic ones mentioned, is they kept sliding across the floor as I tried to drive up them. Good luck! Aren't we always looking for more car related projects anyways?

Storing them isn't so bad. I misquoted myself, I made them our of 2x12s instead of 2x10s. I wanted to have an inch or so on each side of the tire. I stand them up on their ends in the corner of the garage, they don't take up that much space. You could even paint them some color so they looked "finished". I put mine together with sheetrock screws and an electric drill, so it goes pretty quick. Best of luck.
