Hey all,

I read a post in here from back in Feb, about troubles with the SCT tuner on cars with a DTB1 computer. Low and behold I checked today and that's what I have...[:@] Does anybody know whether or not this has been corrected?

 

Did you update the firmware on your SCT tuner? I would try that first. Following that, you may have to contact SCT and ship the unit back to them for a replacment.

 

Which mustangs come with that computer?

 

Rygen - I was hoping you'd reply since I saw you were in on the original post. I haven't actually bought it yet, but have been looking at getting it and yesterday when I was washing the car I remembered about the computer codes and took a peek. Most of the posts I saw mentioned DURx type codes so when I saw DTBx I was intrigued and did a search on the code and turned up the post with the problems.

Kris - to answer your question I have a 2006 V6 Premium, manual tranny, built in Aug 05

 

id suggest that when u order u tell the person taking ur order about what computer u have and ask if the problem was fixed or that they make sure they send u one that is sure 2 work...
