Did i do something bad?
Since i got my x-cal 2 ive been messing with the user adjustments (shift firmness mainly). I originally set my shifts to 25% but after a while the 1-2 and 3-4 shift felt rediculously rough. then i turned them down and they stayed normal for about 50 miles and then they got really rough again. Then i turned them down some more and even took the 1-2 shift to 0% and it felt good for another few miles or so but now they are the same. Especially when im accelerating normally, the 1-2 shift jerks the whole car. Is this normal or is something wrong? Seems like it would be hard on something.

RE: Did i do something bad?
That is normal. Our transmisions (autos) learn and make adjustments as u rack up the miles. When u flash it, it takes a few miles to adjust . Your WOT shifts should change immediatly , its the part throtle and light throtle that takes a while to adjust. I got all my shift firmness settings at 25%, the car chirps the tires even when u are just cruising at 10 miles . lol. I like it that way,( i hate soft shifts) and it is not hard on the trans , it is actually better since the clutchs dont slip that much. If it bothers you the set the firmness back to negative. Good luck

guess i will turn it back up. Even when i had it at 10% the tires would still churp at part throttle, but ill give it another try. lol, I love the look on my passenger's face when it does that while normally taking off, makes them feel like they're riding in a rocket! Seriously, ive never heard of any other car that can do that. Although when i had a 2000 mustang (v6, auto) i got it to do it at WOT somehow. (only mods were intake and exaust).
