Clicking noise under hood when A/C is on, can anyone help?

Clicking noise under hood when A/C is on, can anyone help?
2006 v-6 with a manual 5 speed. I have an fairly loud clicking noise occuring every 15 to 20 seconds while driving (not while idling) coming from under the hood, but only when the ac is on. If it's just on vent, it doesn't happen, no matter what the fan speed.
Any ideas?

If it does it when the A/C isn't on that means it is low on Freon and you would burn up the compressor if you let it go. When the A/C is on, that means it is doing its thing.

its R134A nowyeah its the nature of the beast.. all cars with AC make this noise.. some are louder than others

Some say they're getting a Coke when they're getting a soda no matter what flavor. I'm one of those people. BTW- I'm HVAC certified Universal.
