i beleive it gets it from the lighter he got his to be accurate to two hp.
You people can't possibly be this stupid.
no i used to have one like it from beltronics.. it get the info from the cigarette lighter plug.. it pulls the information from the computer. and with weights and stuff inside hte module itself it can calculate what its made for

well I may have bought a piece of sh*t, but temtation overcame and I ordered, I checked their website and it really doesn't have a lot of info on how it works, I will have it in my posession soon enough and will see for myself(30 day money back guarantee) I am not sure how exactly it will work, but I will have a recent dyno sheet to make some comparisons by the time I get it, if it works great, if not, it'll go back where it came from.

You enter the weight of the car, and it calculates everything by G-forces. I have one of these (diff. brand: vericom). Also, how COULD it pull the info from the cigarette lighter? Does the car think "He installed a CAI, TB, and got a tune... he MUST have 230 HP!"???

well I got the toy, it was a bit of a PITA to set up if you dont read all the instructions, heres my best time. makes you wonder, hmmmmmmmm, it was def. worth the money IMO, but i'm a bit of a fool sometimes

wait, that showed that you peaked at around 265hp?


i am not saying that your car is slow, but that is a lot og hp for a sixer! are you sure that is correct?

253 hp
its a toy, I did get the tach set right on, I wish it was guaranteed accurate. its been fun to check, LOL
