Yesterday I was at a red light and these two bald headed gang bangers in their typical Honda Civic piece of **it
with their " high performance muffler" or whatever are next to me. The guy looks over and starts revving his piece of junk.
I rev my 4.0 duel exhaust Flowmasters and the guy looks down all embarrassed with his buddy next to him laughing.
I wouldnt drive one of those junk heaps if they gave me one for free!! Needless to say I smoked him when the light turned green.
Can't wait to move out of California. Getting bad out here.....[:'(]

 

The civic is a good car... very efficient, economical people mover.

But, these kids just don't know what they're doing. Sure, they can be made very, very quick... but the fart can muffler doesn't do it. I had to put one of these rabid bumblebees in it's place the other day, revving at me at a light... trying to powerbrake off the line. OK... I admit... street racing is bad... so, I gave it half throttle and smoked 'im. And, I don't know why... but, it made me grin just a little bit.

And... I'm not sure rice "rockets" is such a good name for this post LOL... they have very little in common with a rocket! How about rice hurled pancake in the general direction of the road ahead?

 

Sad but true , most of these a**holes beleive loud = fast.
I tried to have a performance conversation with a "fart can kid " in my neighborhood and he didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

 

Everyone is so house poor in Cali that they can't help but own rice.... Okay okay, not everyone, but the younger generation that wasn't born into money is, cos the parents are spending all the cash to buy a shack just to enjoy the overcrowded always polluted beaches there. (I lived in San Diego for 20 years so anyone that wants to say I don't know southern cali can blow me)

 

One of the docs I work with actually calls them mosquito racers...since the exhaust has the buzzing annoying sound like a mosquito..me i like to call them "rice burners."

 

Rice Rockets made me think of the Gsx-r 1000 which is a whole different story compared with the fartcan cars

Amen to that! I've got to get out of Cali too; it's too bad because it's a beautiful place but the state government is sh!$.

 

Yea rice rocket wouldn't be the best name, I'm thinking rice turtle, or rice crap, but deffinitly not rocket. Put it this way, when my 98 V6 can kick your ***, it's time to kill yourself.

I'm sitting here laughing my butt off at all the responses I'm getting. The pancake thrown ahead or something like that is the best. And yes to the guy from San Diego. California has turned into the #1 welfare state. The schools are #50th in the nation and the roads are full of potholes. Need to put up 3 more years till I can retire at 50 and get the hell out of this dump!! Its so irritating as another guy mentioned- these MORONS think louder is faster. The Honda is made just as another person stated-basic cheap transportation. But these idiots turn them into mosquito sounding irritating ghetto trash.[&:]
