Default Doug's throttle body dyno results

Not really a shocker... claimed gains by the manufacturer are all bunk...

Many thanks to Doug for his work!

Thanks to Doug for saving us dough to go towards the procharger. It's great belong to this group, it saves 100 guys trying to reinvent the same wheel.

with the power adder you will probably see a gain. Remember that dyno was done on a stock car...

hey guys,

Sorry for the delays but this is the first time I could actually log onto this site. Things have been crazy trying to get on here.

As for the dynotesting it went like this....This is with the Proto-type Loki TB.

The automatic RENTAL V6 with 3500 miles on it and completely stock made 166rwhp and I forget the Tq.

It made 166 rwhp with the TB and the stock tune.

It made 174 rwhp with my 93 Performance tune and the stock TB.

It made 174 rwhp with my 93 Performance tune and the 70mm TB.

This testing was done on Velocity Mustang Performance's dyno at the FFW race in Atlanta. My take on this TB is it may help if you are supercharged or have some type of Forced Induction but for the normal N/A vehicle it is a WASTE of money, just like the one for the GT's.

There are going to be a host of companies claiming 10-12 rwhp with them, I have the numbers, I can get the Dynosheets if necessary from Justin. Spend your $300+ elsewhere....

Thanks, Doug.
