Glad you're well. And it's good to here about the safety factor. I can relate to the pole thing. I moved a 40' phone pole with my 65 convertible HYPO back in 1970. Similar situation as yours. I walked away from that one too, but the pony was totaled.

Holly Crap that was a big hit, glad your ok! Just one question though did they give you the full money of the vehicle or what is was worth at the time, just wondering cause I saw the new allstate commercial and they said you get a new car back instead of what your car is worth at the time?

Yeah I got all of my money back with state farm, the car was basically still new, and then i went and got my manual tungsten that i love

the other day i was driving to los angles in the rain. and it started to rain and i almost hrdroplained all the way off the highway but just regained traction at the very end lane. scary as hell. im glad to here all the safety feautures worked right and that your still here. its good to here you got a new one without having to yell and argue. and good luck keeping this one away from tragedy.
