Default PHP 11 Second V6

Got some good info, just got off the phone with the man himself, Paul (PHP)!!!! Very cool guy, very helpful. Heard about his 11 second V6 and had to get the details, here is the setup he is running:

• Vortec Super Charger
• Intercooled
• 60lb Injectors
• 13-14lb of boost
• JBA shorties
• Factory CATS
• Slicks and skinnies (need to confirm again, was loud in the background)
• 410 RWHP SAE
• 11.60@117 (3 in a row)

Tuning is really critical, wiring modifications and fuel systems were crucial. He really stressed fuel systems and wiring. You can call him back for the wiring details.

No mods to the block or anything else? If not, I can't see this engine lasting more than 20-30K I don't care how good the tune is.

No mods to the block that I know of, but it is on slicks. The shops I talk to say 10lbs of boost is safe on these cars, I don't know of anyone running more than that though on a daily driver.

yeah..i don't see this being a DD..more a track-only car.

edit: nice to know the potential though

That car is thier track car I think. But...they have an auto I think running very low 13's on conservative boost and thier new TQ converter at 3K I believe which is pretty damn good. I mean, once you put slicks on a car, you better make sure you have another daily driver. But he did say the runs are with AC, stereo, etc. All stock options left in the car. I wonder what it will do when they rip everything out. LOL.

LOL! If only a race car could last that long!! That would be 80,000 trips down the drag strip, I could live with that!!!

Good grief that's amazing!! Those numbers would be impressive on a V8!
