haha... i have a good one with my new mustang actually... really embarrasing.... When I first was looking at Mustangs and the Ford dealer wanted me to take a new one for a test drive.... he had to drive it to the gas station first... I couldnt because you have to make a left out of the dealership and it crosses a pretty busy road so there was alot of oncoming traffic and I guess they dont let people make that left there.... anyway.. we get there and he fills the car up... and I get in and we're ready to roll... now I've driven a stick for about 5 years...lol but the clutch is very different in my little Mazda MX-6... and what do you think I did the first time I tried pulling away... .....yes sir Ladies and Gentleman.... I stalled out... haha I was so embarrased.. I guess I was alittle nervous test driving a brand new car.. and I'm only 22 and I didnt want the dealer to think i wasnt serious about the car... so I was tryin to be as serious and mature as possible and I stalled out...lol it sucked.. but anyway.. I test drove it.. Loved it.. came back the next day and bought a new mustang... not that exact one but... lol

I was a senior i high school and had a 1989 Dodge Daytone with the turbo on it...Anyways I was getting ready to race this guy and we both go to take off and the front brackets under my seat snapped...next thing I know I'm staring at the roof of my car trying to get back upright so I can hit my breaks...took me a good month to live that one down. Needless to say I lost the race but hey I gained a good embarasing moment.

One more to share...had a friend with a nova that armoralled his front bench seat...wasn't wearing his seat belt and took a corner to fast and slid his fat *** all the way to the other side of the car and then wrecked in to the front of a gas station...he was allright so we were able to make fun him...

ok so, our parking lot is on a hill. with a entrance on the left and the right going down the BIG hill. So for a senior prank,they decide to block us in by parking in the exits. Me and a few friends drove down the hill and left (i still drove the truck then) and then my friend decides she will do it. so she drives over the curb and starts down the hill, she then realizes that it is TOO steep and she hits the breaks, she is on grass and it was a little wet, so she starts sliding. She slid all the way down the hil and RAMMED her front bumper into the ditch at the bottom, tore off the bumper. Then she tries to get out,but halfway up the ditch the car high centers! lol it was so great we had to pull her out, then her oil pan was busted and we told her not to but she drove home anyway leaking oil like crazy. Need less to say her whole car was busted BIG time.LOL it was so great.

Ha! Great thread. I've got one of a slightly different variety.

It's my senior year of high school. My best friend and I are out with our girlfriends. My girl's driving, in her Mom's Intrepid; I'm riding shotty and my boy's in the back with his girl. We go to dinner, the movies; everything's perfect. None of us wants the night to end, so my girl pulls slowly into the local park. The stars are bright above, the waterfall is rolling hypnotically outside -- my girl leans into my arms...

Before I go any further, let me just point out a couple of things about my best buddy's girlfriend. Two, to be exact: her mom and her dad. Yeah, the ones at home LISTENING TO THE CB RADIO JUST TO MAKE SURE NOTHING HAPPENS TO THEIR DAUGHTER. Who does that? Seriously.

Right. So, back to the magic. Our eyes lock. Our lips are about to. Nothing exists outside this moment -- nothing, that is, except for the really bright light shining in the fogged-up window. Oh, good evening, officer. No, we didn't realize the park closed at dusk, officer. No, we don't have any illegal substances in the car, officer. Why, funny you should mention that, officer -- we were just leaving, actually.

Whew. So we're free and clear, right? Sure -- until we pull into my girl's driveway and her mom comes out with that hands-on-hips pose that means only one thing: you're in trouble, mister. Seems she got a little phone call when a certain license plate registered in her name popped up on the ol' CB radio...

I got a good one. It was the summer after high school, I had my dads 89 taurus and we were going to some teen night club thing. I made a sharp turn to park and the wheel locked, causing the car to stall out or something. I didn't know what happened and the car would not start up, so I decide to be smart and just push it the rest of the way into the spot. Little did I realise that I was on a downward slope, so as soon as I put the car in N, it starts rolling until it hits the telephone pole in front of the spot. This all took place in front of about 100 people waiting to get into the club, I never felt like such a jackass before.

ok... first of all the car enough was embarasment enough. i hated that car soooo much. it only had 87 or so hp and i tore the **** out of that car... one day after school i was a the stop light right in front of my school and i decide to floor it. the light turned green so i attemted to gun it and before i get past the crosswalk i hear a pop. the car stops in the intersection and i try to start it. nothing happend. i had to get out and push the car to the side called my best friend cus his dad owns a tow company. they come get my car and take i back to the shop and the tell me that only one of my cylinders is getting spark. then six months later my parents bought me my mustang.

1.i was teaching myself how 2 drive stick in my 86 svo one day when i get to this 4 way stop sign and these girls pulled up on one of the others and they waved me to go and i go to go and i stall and then they go and drive by laughing at me... lol i felt like a poop.... lol



2.soon after, im driving on southern state to go visit my bro at his new apartment in pointlook out, ny when i hear this big pop and my engine blew and it was freezing outside and i started a traffic jam cause where the car died, teh tow truck couldnt get to me... so like a state trooper or whatever is on southern state had 2 close off a lane and everyone was lookin at me driving by .... thats the worst....

funny thing is, i was carring w/ me my grandfathers chair and my bro came 2 pick it up and left me there in the cold............ hes a loser, lol

I had a stall out story about a week ago. Traffic was very heavy on the highway and I'm not sure how I did it, but when I came to a stop the engine stalled. I bought one of those stupid protection no detect whatever's at the dealer which prevent the motor from starting with out a code sync up or something or the other. Well, when I stalled I could not get the car started, and I'm starting to panic, the cars in front of me continue while I back up traffic trying to get my nice 05 mustang started.. luckily it started once I hit the key thing... but still.. how embarrasing...

I was 17 had my bright orange Fiat 124 Spyder. I was dating one of the deacons daughter from church. Well her head was buried in my lap . Yep I see red and blue lights flashing behind me, I had the top down. Bad enough already till the officer walks up to the car(my shorts are up and she is now sitting up). Son I need to see your dr...... Laura! What the hell are you doing! Hey Uncle Bill we were just going for a ride. He then tells her to get in his patrol car. At this time I swear my name is now Rodney King. I can't tell if he is ready to laugh or cry and tells me to follow him. I follow him to his brothers house(yes Dad and my deacon from church). Then Uncle Bill tells the story(laura says she lost her contact with top being down, man she was awesome! In more than one way!). Dad says he beleives her then has a lecture for me. He never was very nice to me at church again! Laura was! Best part never knew why I got pulled over and avoided any poss citation.

My freshman year in college, my roommate and I are heading back home for spring break in my bucket of rust. We're heading north out of town on a highway with a 65mph limit. Everything was fine for the first several miles, then I downshifted to pass someone, get back into the right lane, shift to fifth and hear this loud "CLUNK." All of a sudden, I'm not accellerating anymore...engine just revs when I press the gas. I try fourth gear...same thing. Same in third. I was down to two gears - one and two. So, I turn around in one of those "emergency vehicles only" crossings in the median and end up driving down a 65mph highway at about 30mph, 5500 rpms, and a heck of a lot of middle fingers the whole way back for 8 miles.

Then there was the time the tie rod went out on that same heap while I was going down the road. My truck started having a seizure and everyone's looking at me like "what's that guy doing to himself in that truck?!" []

Then there's the incident that began with the words: "Look guys...no brakes!" That ended much better than it could have, however...
