the cobra concept was scrapped in favor of the gr1 concept car, which i dont believe has the green light yet.

D'oh! I actually had to look that up...I remember seeing that now. I thought it was awesome when I saw it at the auto show. A bit "pie in the sky" compared to what appeared to be the more-production-ready Cobra, but a cool car no less.

That sucks no more GT 40 for a while but I hardly ever see when anyway the only time I really see them is when I go to the dealer.

I couldn't agree more, it is awesome!! I sat in one at the Dallas Auto Show and it felt sooooo right The GT is great too, but it doesn't speak to me like the Viper does. The Viper is a blatant hot rod/ muscle car, the GT is more of a traditional road-going sports car (style-wise). Nothing wrong with that at all, but not my cup of tea.
