compare apples to apples, not apples to oranges. Saleen has a shifter too for bout 135 or 139. it doesnt include the linkage like the hurst, but it reduces the throw around the same i believe.

But i belive saleens full shifter only fits the GT. To date us 6ers have a very limited selection of shifters.

the steeda ECONOMY shifter(that is just Wrong) but I think they call it a sport shifter now. unsure on
reduction but i think it is 30-35%
the saleen shifter block 26%
and now the hurs 40%t

has any one installed the hurst yet? I am wondering if that 40% is a "real world #"

are these shifters hard to install?

my bad, confusing steeda and saleen. nd yes its 35%. Stiff as hell with the poly bushings. not worth another $50 to have 5% shorter throw.

well if your going to look at it like that. Why spend $100 over the saleen for 10% on the steeda.

basic;y it works out to $50 every 5% of reduction past the 26% saleen block. lets runs some numbers

with out running out to the car. the stock throw is 7in. so that works out to 1/4in every 5%(roughly)

were looking at

1.25in reduction on the saleen 5.75 throw
1.75in on the steeda 5.25 throw
2in for the hurst 5 throw

i guess i am more interested to see if peolpe like the hurst shifters. I like steeda on some stuff but hurst has been in the biz of shifter for along time

"you dont goto subway to get a good steak, you go to a steak house"

I will add steeda to the poll to see what happens
