I found out the hard way that the 06s have a new method of changing the rear light bulbs. You have to remove the light from the back of the car from the OUTSIDE by unscrewing the bolts on the inside. Now I'm hesitant about installing the sequential turn signals

JerryinTO.... that is not a new method --- well.. not new to "US"... the 05's are exactly the same way.

By the way - - - it didn't stop me from installing my 4Metric Chasers...

its sooooo easy to do inthe trunk the plastic trim is held on by push pins.. just pullout on the trim and pins will pop off.. try and pay attention to where they fly to lolispent 20 min looking for that landed in my jacket pocket that was in teh trunk lol .. after that its a 10-12 mil wrench if its not metric its the standard sizes around the same size. and then theres 3 of them to take out, and then just pull out onthe light... on the back of hte light turn the whole light harness (what the bulb is supported in. and whenthe nothces line up with the holes it will pull out

Careful...there ARE differences in the wiring harness and/or plugs of the 05 and 06 mustangs!!! Ford changed the design during the run. You should check what your plug looks like and make sure you get the right sequential kit.
