im still mad at you guys but i thought i would post my very first time at the track!


ok so here it is remember its my first time

so here are the stats first race i did a 9.373 against a 06 gto 6.0. pulled him off the line put at the end he pulled me. and got a 9.174 2nd run was against the 90 ish (not sure of the exact year) saleen you see that i won. 3rd run was against an acura w somthing /s and i had my bud in the car with me and i killed him 9.531 and him 10.103 last run was againd a 06 gt with nitrous first we were in line and i was talking to him and i said hey whats that badge? it was nitros under the gt . but he said he was going to wait till the last run to use it because his helmit was out of dat and he didnt want to get kicked off. if you run better than 8.5 you need a snell approved helet. so he asked what i had ? just a v6 then he asked what i had done so i showed him stupid move next thing i know hes asking everyone for a helmet nedless to say the ran squeeze and ran 8.644 to my 9.548 but i also had my bud with me. what a chicken. any way i did for runs 1/2 tank od chevron surpream full sized spare in the trunk and i 250. also ran 44lb in the front and 28lb in the rear. it was fun ill go back next thursday and see what doug does for me.

why are you mad at us?? no 1/4 mile track times?? nice runs by the way. show that acura whos boss.

 

I've never been to track before and i'm not accustomed to 1/8 mile times and 60' numbers. Somebody hel me understand what is considered fast and slow in these areas.

look at rygens numbers

 

a 9.1 is probably a low 14 or high 13 second run (depending on traction). my 14.53 run is with a 9.3 1/8th.

 

ok, thnx man. more questions;

Afixer did a 9.218 and as you say it is in the low 14's. Was that only the final dyno tune w/ the X-Charger? Does afixer have auto or stick, Im just concerned that i'm gonna be spending 4100 dollars and not get into the 13's. Or am i just over reacting b/c its the Cali version and the 49 state version isn't done yet, and it was Afixer's first time and the stock Perlli's on. I just want to be able to get into the 13's if i spend 4100 thats all.

he has no posi, thats a big issue, and an auto. i think an 8.9 would be around a 13.9 in the quarter
