Discussing issue with customer service at Meguiar's.Waiting to hear back from them.

you should try Dri Wash N Guard. I've been using it since the 90s when someone in Hawaii turned me on to it. Washes, waxes, and protects all kinds of surfaces. I use their tire cleaner too. Unlike Armour All, it doesn't make the tires shiny (slippery), it leaves them a nice clean matte black. I highly recommend this. Just get some, and two clothes, 1 to apply, and 1 to wipe off. You won't believe how your car looks.

I haven't heard of that. Who makes it and where can I find it? Thanks.

I use 303 Protectant. You can use it on many different things like fiberglass, vinyl and even rubber. Some tire shineproducts seem to attract dirt and dust but not this stuff! You can purchase it at any Marine or Boat store.

Protectants are not a good idea if you ask me. Sure it is great you are trying to protect your car but IMO using these products actually do more harm than good. Keep your car detailed, hand wash at least 1 time a week. My problem with protectants is that after you start using them, you have to use them every wash. After you have been applying proctectant wash your car and dont apply any. The trim and plastic will look faded out like it is aged more than it should be.

I disagree. If you don't put something on vinyl it will crack and peel sooner. Same thing for rubber....if you don't keep some kind of protectant, it will not last as long.
On my last GT, I used to put Silicone spray around the rubber seals in the T-Tops. They never looked bad.
