Ford Racing + Warranty?

Ford Racing + Warranty?
So I plan on getting the Ford Racing T-Lock very soon and I was wondering what the deal with the warranty is? Since it is a Ford part does it affect the warranty at all? Does it carry its own warranty? If not what would happen and what parts/issues are no longer covered? Thanks

I was contemplating the same thing (Ford T-Lok and gears) and maybe the Ford/Borla muffler from the Ford dealership as a way to keep my warranty intact.

If the dealer installs the parts and you buy the parts from the dealer they will warranty the parts and labor. Not all dealers are Ford Racing dealers though; you should find one that is. But any part that you buy and have installed by the dealer should carry the warranty.

yea the part will have a warranty but it is not stock so if it causes a problem it will void the original warranty on your car.
Even though the gears are made by ford it is still an aftermarket part.

Damn, I stand corrected. My dealer told me they will warranty the Eibach springs I bought from them and they installed. I had originally put Springtech springs on it and had trouble with the strut bushings which they would not warranty because they didn't sell the parts/do the install.
