A salesman at my local ford dealer told me that the GT and the V6 are exactly the same speed-wise in 0-60 but then after that is when the GT is faster. Is this true?

GT 5.3 seconds
V6 6.9 seconds

so... there's a slight difference as you can see. 90hp between the two engines will do that.

No actually i think he's right.... i was talking to salesman at my Ford dealer the other day and he was telling me how the 50th anniversary GT will keep up with the Bugatti Veyron......

if u check around the internet i'm pretty sure u'll find out that he's right.

(keep in mind i am not an idiot when reading this please lol)

Let me guess, they had around 30 V6's on the lot and no GT's?

hahaha yeah they did. They had about 10-15 V6's and ONE used 05 GT

Man My dealership was pretty even on the V6 to GT Ratio (maybe even had more GTs than 6ers)...what they didn't have hardly anything of was manuals...I drove off the lot with the only stick they had there.
But my sales guy actually tried telling me that the 6 was faster 0-60 cuz it was lighter. I just kinda laughed and said I doubted that, but I really didn't care one way or the other cuz I had allready decided on buying the 6 before I even got there.

u cant believe anything from salesmen, other than the price at signing...... the mustang isnt going to keep up with the bugatti..... not even close
