Getting ready to install my push button ignition...Updated
So hopefully here in a little while I can post and say that mod #2 is done. I don't THINK that it will be do difficult, but I'm about to find out.
Ok so quite awhile later now LOL...most of my time so far has been getting my button to mount correctly(it didn't fit quite how I wanted...fixed it with a rubber washer cut to size though) That part is all done...it looks pretty good...now I'm ready to wire...I've got my ground, and a couple of 12v wires like i need, what I DON"T have is a wire going to my ignition wire...Any ideas where the easiest place to tap into this is? Not really wanting to remove all the trim pieces to get to the igniton itself...is there away to find it further back that might work. So far it's proving to be a bit more of a pain in the **** than what i was initially expecting. But still...like I said all i need is a place to tie in to my ignition wire...

Sorry I don't have an answer for you; I have a question. Once the part is installed how does it work, do you have to still use your key? Or do you remove the ignition on the steering column?
YOu still have to use your key and turn it to on, then push the button to start. It's kinda pointless, it's more of a novelty/show off kinda thing
Just thought I'd give a pic of what it looks like on the dash...will take another pic when it's in and finished
