I think just save the money on the push buttons and get a remote starter kit instead that allows you to start the car with your handheld key remote!

yeah I like the idea of remote start to, but I have a manual. My button is really less about function as it is more about the look of it and showing off, LOL...just a fun little novelty...90% of the time I'll probably still start it up wth just the key.
Riccan---even with the button you still have to have the key even to use it, add to that they anti theft feature that needs to detect the chip in the key to start the igniton it's not any easier to steal the car...trust me I tested it...no key no go LOL

now my question is, i read the instructions, lol ok what if i want to disable the use for turning the key all teh way, because so far as it looks you can still use the key to turn it on or use the button..
yes you can still use the key to start too, I would assume you could disconnect the wire to the iginition completely so it just connects to the button...but you would still have to use the key to unlock the stearing wheel...****disclaimer...I don't know this for fact though. LOL

i want to run a series of switchs to that wire, before it goes to the button, so unless the swtichs are turned on in a certain order the button isnt gonna work

That could be kinda kool, got any idea where you might mount them? I thought about disabling the key, but most of my button is plastic and just in case it doesn't wear well over time I wanted to be sure to have a backup... Just in case
