i dont do custom exhaust because i dont have a pipe bender. i do bolt in kits.... and then exhaust that ill spend a few days on lol (like mine, im going to do a full H pipe dual kit with NO welding ....shhh its a secret)

EDIT: On the body parts ya i could do em, no experience with the 05's yet on body parts, but im sure its not that bad.

sounds good man ill have to stop by soon, proly w/ farzad or farhad. Im getting the take off gt exhaust i know they arent the best choice but they will sound allot better than stock, expecially since i have an auto its more quiet. but I am also gunna put on a cut-out after the cat. i dunno if itll do any good or bad, but i just want the cut out for sheer loud noise when i pull up to friends and 2 show off haha

cool, that boy needs to get the supra tuned so he can run 13s in his 1000hp car haha j/p. I have a gt hpipe that im going to cut and clamp (same clamps find after the hpipe to midpipes) then buy a drivers side midpipe, hangers, and drivers side axleback, and it should be set and then i will be able to uses an GT axleback from that point on. Just havent decided if i want to do the GT bumpers or not

I started off with straight duals, no h pipe. nothing, It was pretty loud, but really raspy at higher rpms aka RICE and you could definitely tell that i just didn't have enough back pressure...I didn't even go out and buy an H-pipe, I just had the same shop weld a single piece of pipe right after my cats to make an H, turned out nice for just $40 bucks...Sound was much more consistent throughout low and high rpms, and definitely helped with back pressure. If you're low on cash thats your best bet just for a while...As for losing HP with duals on the V6, like Fazm said i put down 202 rwhp, the Crossover IS def. helpin!

hey guys
before i go and rip some new a holes, i thought i'd ask a few quick questions.

if i'm putting on dual gt mufflers will this cause me to lose back pressure without an h or x pipe? the shop i went to told me i don't need either but should upgrade to flowmasters to maintain pressure. and that the gt mufflers aren't designed to work with the 6.

i've also heard that straight duals on a 6 without the h/x sounds like a civic. true?

that's all for now. any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
the shop is full of **** about the GT mufflers, they will work great, heck there is a 1 hp difference between going no mufflers or using the GT muffler.. honestly the GT muff is a performance muffler in its own!!! the lack of back pressure is irrelevant to the size of motor you got, dont worry about back pressure unless your running off the headers. in laymens terms, H pipe (most popular, deeper sound) X pipe (increase in torque by 1)

I have GT take off's on mine w/ an X pipe and I def feel a power increase. In fact, it was after the duels were put on where I was able to chirp the tires from time to time going from first to second (I have an auto).
