what is your age

what is your age
I'd like to get an idea of the average age of members to consider perspective when reading commentary/feedback. The opinions/tastes of a 40 year old probably don't mean much to a 17 YO or the other way around.

Don't take it any way. It's just a question of perspective; when yhou were 17 you probably didn't have the same tastes or concerns or responsibilities you have now.

RE: what is your age
I'm 24. And I think any well-thought-out opinion is worth paying attention to. My dad, for example, is the first person I go to with a question about anything car-related, and the 'generation gap' has never been an issue. I may not always agree with his opinion, but I always respect it. Age = experience, in his case as with many others. On the flip side, I don't see the opinion of a 16-year-old as any less valid just because of age.
As for opinions that are more impulsive, things like 'Is Legend Lime a good color?' or 'What do you think about the looks of this new hood scoop?' I don't really see age as much of a factor either, at least as far as validity is concerned. That's just my 2 cents, though, I know some people don't see it this way. To me, the internet tends to strip away things like age and let ideas speak for themselves, in both bad ways and good. That said, it's still kind of interesting to see the range of a good forum [8D]
