I have one of those "early 05s" and I have had no problems with the gas tank or
shaker 500. Go figure.

Mine has the filling issue. I just can't be bothered with taking it to the dealership right now. It's NOT that serious of an issue. A pain in the ****? Yes. Lemon? No. Ford has already addressed the issue with the TSB.

I've had a few instances where the gas stopped and was very annoying to pump. But it was at a gas station I never used before and assumed it was an issue with their pump and my car at the time.

The one I normally use, no problems.

Take it to the dealer. They will fix it.

What a crybaby story. Plus, notice it's the European Edition of Stars & Strips Magazine. It's better (politically) to write a bad story about an American icon than a good story. Yeah, let make the Germans feel better about their own cars. Ever heard the slogan "Buy American?" We do the same thing here. We complain about import cars because their prices are inflated. What a bogus article. I wish I could getthe last 5 minutes of my life back.

This type of passive aggression is absurd. It is the owners fault for not demanding that the problem be remedied at the dealership. A car is a substantial investment, there is no need to be shy in demanding to get exactly what you paid for.

I've run into the gas problem TWICE and both times it wasn't a big deal if you rotate the pump counterclockwise about 110 degrees

I occasionally have the same problem, but I can work around it. Too bad that jerk ended up with the car. There is someone else without a GT because of him.
