20's look hot but lets remember what we got here. its a 4.0 v6. running 20's is alot of rotating mass and it would hurt our performance something terrible. 18's is what i plan on running. the cars already lowered so 18's would fit fine and look better then the stock 16's. i recommend keeping the 18s and just remember that if you really want 20's go for a race against a stang with the same mods as you but with 20's and you will see how much better you got it.
this is funny why not gop with 22s or bigger. its all in the eye of the beholder. depending on the body kit they look ok. but on a stock car to make it look cool its like putting tennis shoes on a pig. my but put the 20" bling halibrand looking ones on his car and it looks ok. then he put the 14" drilled and sloted upgrade on the front. all you can see now when you look at his car is how out of place the stock rear rottors look. i'm trying to talk him into at least getting some drilled and slotted rotorpros for the rear!. again this is just my opinion.

I think you guys are getting to old. 20's was the 2nd thing i did to my car after springs. Who cares if it goes slower.... Supercharge it. I think its look dope with 20x10 and 20x8.5 but everyone has there own opinion.

What in the He// just because your a newbie doesn't mean you need to come in here and bash a V6 I know a lot of people with V6's that will kill a V8 car

its all about making your ride your own. its fine to go with 20's if your not going to the track, but if your raceing then 20's don't make sense to get. all in all do what you want to do, its your car.
Im going to stroll off subject here but ummmm can we get spell check on this website. As far as 20's go im gonna say that everyone has a unique idea of what their car should look like. I am not for the track or anything like that. My car is basically to turn heads and IMO the "old" people are the ones that I got compliments from about my big *** 20 inch wheels that slow my car down tenths of a second while i was home on leave. With that said I believe the guy wanted help with choosing wheels and not a stupid fight between each other over whats better and to bash each others rims or what have you.
Yes and no. If you wanted a race car, even a GT stock would not handle some cars, ie. Cobra or Corvette. SO what I think it comes down to is a person picking a car that they want to mod if they are into the racing type stuff. Some people wanted to buy a six for the sake of beating bigger V8's I bought a six cause I didnt want to race but still I test drove it and it was pretty quick, one of the quickest six's Ive driven that look cool. However now that I only drove it for three weeks, I now want a turbo because I took a spin in a Nissan three fifty Z(numbers on laptop arnt working) and wow was i impressed.
Back to the wheel diameter. For those of you who got GT knock offs with a 235/55/17 stock tire the calculations come out to GT takeoff-27.177-overall diameter My 20inch wheels 255/35/20-27.854 diameter. GT-13.399Wheel revolutions per second @ 65MPH My 20's- 13.073.......all in all what does this mean to me? Well really nothing unless I was a diehard track guy which Im not.....
