I would never put 20's on a car. I think they loook particularly ridiculous on stock mustangs, ie no body work. But more importantly the performance loss with respect to acceleration and breaking would never justify the size. Any handling you might gain can be had with the right tire on a 18 inch rim.

I might get wild and locate a set of 17 inch GT take-offs, I concur with the panel.

I think you guys are getting to old. 20's was the 2nd thing i did to my car after springs. Who cares if it goes slower.... Supercharge it. I think its look dope with 20x10 and 20x8.5 but everyone has there own opinion.

Why would you lose performancem assuming equivalent diameter? Increased mass? Is it that noticable, or are we talking fractions of a second?

I haven't had any complaints about how "ridiculous" my wheels look! Hey if it's good enough for Carroll Shelby it's good enough for me! I also seem to be able to get up to highway speed(thank god)!LOL

I personally am not a fan of 20's. Anything bigger then 18's is to big IMO. 20's will make the car slower and it is only fractions of a second to a second, But thats still alot if you are serious. If your not then I still think its ugly.
