Default Duals With GT Takeoffs?

Allright, I'm in a quandry. Had my mind made up to install the single GT takeoff muffler, but seeing and hearing those of you with the duals (and seeing some locally), now I'm having second thoughts. Obviously the duals look and sound better. To have them put on, also more $$$. My reasoning with the single was so that everyone would know it's a six and still runs like a bat out of the nether regions. I understand the HP gains are not that much better with the duals...but the look...the sound...!!! Anyway, I've got a set of takeoffs on the way. Those of you that are running them (duals), did you have any problems with drone or vibration, or both? If you did, what did you do to correct, or eliminate the problem? Those of you running the single, are you happy with the sound, performance, etc. Help!

I have a lot of drone but it does not annoy me because I crank up the tunes. WHen I turn them down it drones but not enough to annoy. If they annoy me too bad I will get some resonators, I no longer have any as my muffler man took all of them away and burried them. Not sure what they run though. Correct me As far as duals sounding better, I feel that is simply an opinion. Scrming has a single MRT that sounds pretty bad ***. I was going to get one, VERY close, I just liked the LOOK of the duals better. I reccomend you read Scrmings websiteon what he did. His stang is no joke, and he has a single. Also, IMHO I think you went right with the Gt-takeoffs. THey sound very very good and will look nice too!

I decided to stay with the single, and ordered in the MRT. Like you said I want people to know it's a V6. I'm proud of my car, engine and all. And after I join Rygens turbo club and learn the secret hand shake, it's gona be that much more fun for people to know it's a V6. They'll be able to tell if they have binoculars cuz I'll be WAY in front of them.

I've got the GT duals and have had no problem with drone. I love the sound; a very deep rumble but not so loud to be annoying, doesn't sound like a "tuner". Oh, and they do look really good.

I have to agree, I had the GT take off and loved it. I also had the magnaflow kit that came with the magnapacks, a.k.a. magnadrones. They sounded great out of the car, droned insane in the car. They are not for everyone, but I think the car looks better with duals. You will like the GT mufflers for sure.
