I've had a SINGLE GT TAKE-OFF for about three weeks now and am delighted with the results. I have a convertible and don't want to be too loud. My wife drives the car the most and I didn't want to upset her by going too loud also.

I haven't done the MATH, but it appears that the gas mileage has improved (was good with the stock can in place). I love the sound of the single and will retain it for the long haul.

No wrong answer here, the duals will serve you well also.

Can you hear the GT takeoffs very well from a little distance? The thing I dont understand is on the GTs you can barely hear them unless you really get on it. It doesn't seem like you would be able to hear much at all coming out of a smaller engine.

Thanks to one and all for your input, pics and soundclips. The single does sound good with the upside being the simple install. I'm just not sure how long I can pass by the drivers side muffler staring at me from the floor of the garage. I guess I could leave it in the box, or...install it...Gaaa! What I think I'll do is visit a couple of local muffler shops, price the dual install, but in the meantime run the single and see how I like it. I should mention that just before typing this a Redfire GT that lives two streets over passed by while I was out checking the mail. He's seen my car in the garage before. He waved today. Yeah, I know. You've allready got those duals under the bumper. Was he taunting me? Mocking me? Excuse me while I seek professional help.

Thanks again.
