Where do you guys get these antennas and are they difficult to install? Oh, one more question...why?

I just ordered a new one from mustangtuning.com to replace the one I got locally (bends over in the wind) The main reason is that they look better than the 10 foot one ford gives us LOL
They're real easy to install man.

Yeah that Huge stock one looks silly on there and waves around like a flag in the wind.

I have the shorty rubber black 8"....which bends but I like that, they do make the 8" shorty metal...it is all up to how YOU want it...I would say don't expect to pay more than $15-$20 for it...it ls purely for looks!

I got the metal 8" shorty one. About $28. Found it one a recent posting here. Just looks better, way better. Good reception too. Oh, just get a 10MM wrench. Two minutes you're done. Hope that helps.

I have a 8" Billet shorty that my husband got for me on Ebay for less than 20 bucks. It too all of two minutes to install, and I have no problems with reception. I love the way it looks, so much cleaner than stock!
