Default Hard Pan Rod

In the service manual at the dealership they have to train new dealers they said that the hard pan rod would lower of the mustang to give the full of tire look.....I read it myself can you honestly lower the car with out springs and struts or what? Have you heard about our cars having the hard pan rod for lowering.

i don't think so... The panhard bar is used to center the axle, side to side... if you lower the car you might need an adjustable panhard bar to keep the axle centered.... BTW, the axle is slightly off center from the factory by design...
