you got it
Priced kind of high but for $600 you get lighter driveshaft and more HP since you reduce the power loss through the moving parts. Another mod would be a lighter flywheel.

If we could get a custom one at a lower price like around $300 or so.

just so you know, it will not fit the v6 since the 3650 is longer than the t-5, among other reasons. CHE (powerhouse411.com) is releasing their v6 shaft soon

I'm having a custom drive shaft made for my car. It a steel shaft but a different design that will be about 30% lighter. I will get it installed next week, hopefully, along with some 3.73's as well as a dyno tune. I don't expect much from the new driver shaft other than strength and durability.

I didn't find anything. I guess if we could get a custom driveshaft for low price and keep it light. I wonder if the difference could be felt.
One of the reasons I don't want to get 17" GT rims is the extra 32lb of weight. I like my light 16" rims for now and maybe lighter drive shaft will make a bigger difference. This weekend I am changing fluids to Royal Purple and will post the difference.

32 lbs in weight? They weigh (that much) more than the v6 rim? I felt no difference in weight when i was picking them up. Less material on the 17" rims, the v6 rims are very crowded in camparison. But yes, not only are you losing 25 lbs (driveshaft) but its rotational weight, which is even better. But changin your fluids to royal purple isnt going to do much, if anything. horsepowertv tested it in a camara (engine oil, trans fluid, differential fluid) and gained 9rwhp. But this 9rwhp was over DIRTY fluid. If you changed it out with regular fluid you would probably see 7 or 8rwhp gain, so maybe 1rwhp additional from a synthetic fluid (the differential already has synthetic in it).

I plan to change transmission and engine oil only. Someone here posted that they felt the difference after change to Royal Purple but I guess I'll find out.
The V6 rims weigh 42lb each (I had it on scale) and GT 17" rims 50 lb. I am glad that you didn't feel the difference in performance. Probably handles a lot better now though. I can't seem to decide but very interested in driveshaft.
