Wow, that is very impressive! The GTO sure isn't pretty, but the newer ones with the 400 hp motors are very strong runners. You've obviously got one hell of a setup!

I don't hang out on the GTO forums, but I have looked around enough to know that there have been some very slow times turned in (like your friend's). Mostly the more experienced guys attribute it to bad launches by newby drag racers. Apparently it's very tricky to get the 400 hp versions of the GTO to hook up. They are very powerful, but the suspension is lacking.

But considering that Screamin spanked one from a roll as well as from a dig, I'd say his car is... well.... screamin'

@yur- Those numbers do seem really high for he GTO. Is he using street tires ? Looks like he probably spun themright through the 60' lol

He has a vid of it on his myspace that I saw. Looked like he was a little slow in the launch.
