How much have you spent on your V6? only

RE: How much have you spent on your V6? only
Oh man, not this one again. Lets just say I have finally caught up to the cost of a equally equipped GT in my area. I can't post the actual number, I think the wife surfs the boards now. LOL.
UPDATE:
And because I know this is comming. Yea, I know, get a GT and you don't have to mod as much. Fact of the matter is, I would have spent just as much on the GT as I did the 6. It's not about the goal of a target HP, but more a goal that is relational to the car class I am in. I enjoy competing in the V6 class....and suprising the hell out of people.

I've spent a fair amount on upgrades for my V6 (and I'll spend a fair bit more before i'm truly done) but I still won't have spent what a GT cost at the time (incuding 6-8 grand of dealer markup locally last year on GT 'verts)
Even after spending what I have, I'll still have a car with easy access to everything under the hood, it'll still have better handling due to a more favorable F/R weight balance, many of the extras I've added (CDC lightbar, sequentials turn signals, headrest embroidery, suspension upgrades, etc) I would have done to a GT as well, and all the extra I've spent has been shelled out in cash, not sitting on an auto loan i'll be paying interest on until the next decade.
I'm quite happy with the choice I made (and my V6)

my eclipse avn5495 itself put me over the $5k level, then with the bluetooth phone system and intall it came out to be a bit more than $6k
as for performance mods, i havent spent just over $600: intake, tuner; i had a ZEX system worth $500 but i sold it
i have suspention upgrades to make now, HIDs, and soon a dual

So far around $1600 and the car is running very well, I enjoy driving this V6 as much as I did my '94 Cobra(no mods). I like the vert a LOT better and I've had a ball getting the little extra HP and performance I have.

I've sorta lost track... and this summer the total is going to go drastically up.

I forced myself to lose track, and it will take a jump as well this summer, but last I checked, it is still fun as HELL, and my car is looking awsome!
