Just got my e-mail from Dave at EE today!

"The inlet castings are due in June 1st. The production EGR tubes were manufactured incorrectly and there is a little delay because of them.

The CA spec kit will be $3695. However, we are doing an introductory deal at $3395."

Looking forward to the release!!!

very interesting. hmmmmmmmmmm

Better is a pretty subjective term. It depends what you're looking for. The Vortech can produce more power since it has a charge-cooler, but it taps the oil pan for cooling and is more complex. The non-cooled Vortech should produce numbers fairly equal to the X-charger. The X-charger is simpler to install and seems like a less complex device overall. If warranty is an issue, I believe the Vortech has a 3 year and the X-charger has a lifetime warranty (except on belts, etc)

The prices haven't moved at RPM Outlet yet. Still $4136 (advertised) for the 9psi Stage-II w/3-core intercooler. I got mine for much less than that after a few phone calls....

by the way, they list http://www.rpmoutlet.com/05v6up.htm underdrive pulley which claims 16hp. I know some folks did dyno and showed no gains so the question is, what kind of dyno are this folks using and why post a gain when there is none.

Yeah.... I like RPM Outlet, but I don't necessarily agree with their gained HP ratings......
