Has anybody removed the beltminder feature?
I know you should always were your seatbelt, but if your just in the car for a little bit or your passenger is not wearing a seatbelt it goes off and never stops its so annoying! I have read the manual and it says to turn the key to on and once the chime stops buckle and unbuckle your seat belt nine times and then there should be a light flashing in the dash and it never flashes WTF? I usually do both seats at a time, Am I supposed to do one seat at a time?

Its in your owners manual. Forgot the section. You have to do something like buckle and unbuckle the belts 8 times and turn the ingition switch on and off three times. I did that. Did it with the auto door locks too!! I've had freinds that like left the engine running and got out, shut the door and found the auto locks went on!!

How many seconds does it take to just snap the buckle in place?
Seriously, come on. Buckle it, it isn't hard. If your passengers are not wearing one, your the one that will get the ticket for them not wearing it. Tell them to put it on or they aren't going anywhere.

I love how many mothers and fathers we all grow when asking about something we know is a "gray area". I'm pretty sure we all know the risks of seatbelts and street racing and just about everything else, but everyone else feels like it is their civic duty to remind us. Most of us are adults and the patronizing becomes a bit tiresome.
The manual's got the thing right, just follow that and you should be peachy keen.
