I bought sum cheapish 18" wheels and i love them, just recieved them actualy, now im wondering if i should have them clear coated before i have them mounted to protect them more for longer, is this an option? can it be dun? whats ur thoughts please.

Call the body shop and ask them how to protect them.
Don't want to scuff up a finish that nice or get rock nicks on them.

well yah, my other rims after a year and after 2 icey winters the clear started to peel and looks horrible (i was in massachusetts for 3 years) so ill call them and ask how much, if its too much ill just have to keep them extra clean .

the style is simple and easy to keep clean so it SHOULD be ok, i just would hate them to go bad after a short period again.
