Default UDP's

Another thing I've been looking into.... UDP's.

What seems like the best I've found so far is from a company called ASP. Their set is about $275.

Anyone have a different recommendation?

Appreciate it!!

This has been covered and re-covered many times... the search feature is your friend!

Now that that's out of the way... Don't believe the manufacturer's claims on underdrive pulley's! Bamachips dyno'd the ASP pulley and got a 4hp gain. There's also an alternator pulley that gives a 3-5 hp gain at the wheels. Using both showed no additional gains... so, choose one or the other.

Wow, I knew 12-15hp was a bogus claim, but I thought it would be more than 4. Maybe that just means that Ford has done a good job designing their components (alternator, water pump, etc..) to operate without putting as much load on the crank, so the hp gain from a smaller pulley is not as significant???

Either way, I still want to get an underdrive for my crank. I'll do a search to see what I can find on the forum.

thanks
