As far as gains are concerned, the incresed flow would give you about the same results as the borla/AT flowmaster mufflers... and it's a sound preference thing, right? Trying to decide which route I want to take, I think I might just get the takeoff's, as I have a few offers to buy them for much less.

If you haven't yet, go to the Exhaust Sticky at the top of the forum. There is a lot of information there and even sound clips.

My experience... I first went with a GT Take off. I thought it was way too quite. I also didn't notice much in HP gain. (butt dyno)
I thought is sounded like the stock muffler, unless you really got on the accelerator. (Single gt muffler)

So. I went to a local exhaust shop, and had them put on a Flowmaster 40 series. I like it a lot, it is very aggressive. I don’t notice much drone, but it is kind of loud. For the first time, I can 'slightly' spin my tires without power breaking and I can really smoke them if I do power break. (I have an auto) I couldn't even spin them before while power breaking. Big Difference.

I hope this helps.

Yes. like a corvette. the invader kits have quads if you have seen one of those before on the older model mustangs.

OMG...
Dont listen to whitev6er. Corvettes dont have Quads. They only have Dual exhaust. Each exhaust tip has two outlets. It is not Quads.

***WhiteV6er If you dont know what you are talking about, then dont post.***

I think this is what we get for being on here so late at night. On a Sunday.

I just hope someone rational sees this tomorrow and has some wisdom, not to say anything about the rest of you guys though... but wow.. I am always willing to listen to someone who has something intelligent to say. Night folks.
