Built some ramps

I followed this tutorial closely, and made some decent ramps. At the moment, they are much longer than necessary, but I plan to lower the front at some point in the future, and these should give me lots of clearance. As an added measure, I made 45-degree cuts so the car can step up easier.

Sweeet! Any opportunity to use power tools! I have a set of ramps from Auto Zone but getting any of my rear wheel drive vehicles onto the ramps is a challenge. Let us know how these work our for you!

RE: Built some ramps
I haven't actually attempted to drive up on them yet. They're so long (8 feet) that I will need to think about my wheel alignment with the ramps. Driving off the ramps would be a bad thing. The wood cost me CDN$35.00, not cheap at all. If I could do this one again, I'd try to make them just a bit shorter somehow, maybe 6 feet max.
Yeah, or you could play on them with your Barbies

That's actually pretty damn cool Ken. Nice work. On a side note, if I still played Gi Joe that would make one killer Fortress.

RE: Built some ramps
Hey Ken, nice job. One suggestion I might make, is to shorten the overall length to 60" and double the rate of climb. The slope will still be easy enough for low front chin spoilers, but it will be easier to store and twice the working heigth. That's what I did and it works great. Just go buy some more boards. Good Luck!
