G Tech 1/4 times.
Hi Everyone,
I bought a GTech Meter a few years ago. I moved and lost it, or so I thought. Today I found it. anyway...
What do you guys think of these meters? It is supposed to measure 0-60, 1/4, Trap Speed, RWHP and more.
So I try it out. I got pretty consistent numbers.
1/4 time 3 different runs
15.30 @ 95.4 mph
15.56 @ 93.7 mph
15.16 @ 97.1 mph
0-60 times 3 different runs
7.01
6.88
6.71
HP numbers 3 different runs
186 RWHP
184 RWHP
183 RWHP
What do you guys think of this? Does it sound right?

RE: G Tech 1/4 times.
I found them to be very innacurate. It said i ran a 14.86 100% stock, yet the best i could actually do at the track was 15.26 stock. thats 4 tenths of a second. Also had a couple of 0-60s in the 6.3 range stock (obviously not right).
Thew newer ones are suppose to be pretty accurate. But since you bought yours a couple years ago, ill assume its the small little black one that im referring to.

RE: G Tech 1/4 times.
I dunno, i dont see them being accurate at all. Without a programmer, the autos have a hard time gettin to goin. 97.1mph? i mean cmon. even the slowest 93.7mph is faster than my mph when i ran a 14.53 (93.6). The only numbers that look accurate to me are the HP numbers. Now with an xcal2, i can see those numbers (and maybe a little better).
