Wow, I remember those. LOL

Way back in the day, I remember folks taking fuel line, and coiling it in a coffee can, and putting ice in there, it would make the gas REALLY cold before it went to the carb. They called it a cool can. <shrug> Dont know if it would make a difference tho.

you need more O2 in your intake, not CO2. CO2 is the biproduct of combustion and actually strangles the process. It would be more dense air coming from a CO2 line, but it would have less oxygen, which would be bad. why not just get some PVC, paint it matte black and route it from your lower grille up to your intake? Your intake would have temperatures lower than the ambient temp that way.

running the a.c. compressor takes h.p. If its not even on it still takes a tiny bit of power because of the drag on the belt. If u dont need a.c. delte it, save weight, free up some h.p. by having the belt hooked up to one less power paracite

if you wanted to make it a little less co,licated couldnt you just put ice in underneath the airfilter in the air box? if that would do anything.

you were to find a place that sold those huge *** blocks of ice that were used for "ice boxes" back in the day before refrigerated air, and an old ice box......then, you built a box before your intake that held a chunk of that ice, so as the air blew over the ice, you get an evaporative cooling effect on the air, making it cooler....then you installed a helical water seperator on the intake tubing with an automatic drain to get rid of the added moisture, so you would end up with really cold air, giving you real CAI.....
anyone think this would work???
oh yea, and is the tech. enough for you guys?
