If anyone is interested just make me an offer no low blows please. the xcal 2 is only about 6months old and barely used... the intake has been cleaned but i am not really charging for the intake just kind of throwing it in there. thanks in advance. And for those of you who dont know i am selling these because i dont have my 05 anymore i now have a 01 mustang gt.

yea the tunes are for an auto but the intake and tuner will still work. i just dont think that you will be able to take full advantage of the tunes that i already have loaded...but as far as that goes you can always have a custom tune made.

no the tuner will not work for a 5 speed. The compturs are diff for the 5 speed and the auto, as well as 1 auto being different from another possibley. There are 5 or 6 computer codes for 2005's. It has to be an exact match to work.

I dont think you understand. there are 5 or 6 diferent computer codes for 2005 alone. 2006's have even more. The programmer itself has to be programmed to the computer thats in the car. if you were selling it to another auto owner, theres a chance it would work on theres, if they had the same 4 digit EEC code.

There is NO CHANCE one programmed for an auto, will work on a manual. Sorry to burst your bubble.

so why is it that when you set the ecm on the car back to stock it can be used on another car? From my understanding when you load it up to another car it will download the ecm and work from there. but hey if im wrong im wrong. but im pretty sure someone has bought a used xcal2 before.
